Yes, no need to heat the pot in the oven first. Just add the cooked rice and heat on top of stove top. Good luck!

It’s okay to heat it all up on the stove top, for 10 minutes?

Hi Magda, yes, you can totally use your Donabe instead of Dolsot. Chinese use Donabe kind of pot for their stone pot rice all the time. Thank you so much!

Can I use them for this recipe? I do use them for your jjigae recipes with good results (they didn’t fall apart 😂) Thank you, and for all your good work on this site!]]> Hi JinJoo. So jealous of you reading You’re in Korea! It’s a big wish, but far too expensive for us from Europe. But at least I’ve your recipes and can enjoy Korean kitchen 🤗😋😋

I don’t yet have a tip for where you can buy the dolsot pot other than from your nearest Korean grocery store. Maybe amazon? I hope to maybe sell it on my kimchimarishop.com but not yet. Real Dolsot should be very heavy and thick and you can see the grey stones.

This is wonderful ! Thank you for sharing this recipe. I was wondering if you had tips about the dolsot pot. Where did you get the grey-ish pot, like in the picture? Are the black ones or grey ones better? And where can I buy non-plastic trivets? And how can I tell if a dolsot pot is good?

Wonderful!! Soo happy to hear that your family enjoyed it!! Snow peas are a very good choice – crunchy and sweet! Love them. Thank you.

Made this dish last night using a cast iron skillet. Subbed in snow peas for the asparagus, but other than that, followed the recipe. Two big thumbs up! The family raved, and there were no leftovers. I printed the recipe and will be making this dish a part of the regular rotation here.
