At the supermarket the raddish are all cube. Now we have the bossam recipe & get to know the other ssam & recipes which uses the fermented shrimp. Whatever you do please do not shake the bottle; it will explode then lots of clean up the pink mushy stuff on the ceiling & everywhere on the kitchen counter or fridge just like 2nd ferment kombucha. lol. Best to put in jar as in all kimchi.

Hi! The radish kimchi stuffing can be and usually made on the same day but if you prefer a more deeper, kimchi like flavor, you could make it a couple days in advance for the flavor to develop further. It’s really up to you. oh and thank you for the 5 stars!!

This was my favorite dish from my travels to Korea and I’m soo excited to try and make it myself. But I am just wondering about the radish kimchi stuffing. Does that need to be made in advance so it can get the most flavoring or can it be made on the same day?

this was SO good! This is one of my favorite Korean dishes and I always thought it was very complicated to make – but it was so easy! I didn’t have fermented salted shrimp saewoojeot or anchovy sauce – I replaced it with fish sauce. I served it to my friends and it was a delicous Keto meal – I used Swerve instead of sugar. Can’t wait to try more of your recipes!
