This is hands down one of the best soups I’ve ever had. I followed your recipe almost exactly (had to use fish sauce and added udon noodles). It’s such a mellow and savory soup. I love it! Thank you, JinJoo. I’m in love with your recipes!

Oh that’s so neat! I haven’t seen Korean radishes from small farms – so happy to hear that it’s being grown more. So glad you have recipes to make with the radishes. Have you also tried Musaengche? It’s a tangy sweet, slightly spicy radish salad – https://kimchimari.com/moosaengche/ that you can make and keep in the fridge for weeks. If you don’t like spicy, you can just omit the chili powder. It’s like pickles, they are a great condiment/side dish to your meals. Anyway, enjoy and thank you!

I have a ‘share’ from a local small produce farmer, & he included Korean radishes–which were huge–I didn’t know what to do with them except to roast.I’m SO happy to have found your blog & delicious recipes. I made a double batch of the soup–it was so easy & delicious. I felt like I had soup from a restaurant & I made it myself! My picky daughter ate it too (twice!). I know I’ll be making it again, as well as the Mu Namul Banchan (easy & delicious!). Thank you!!!

Delicious! This is so comforting and perfect with rice and kimchi. I used the Instant Pot to cook the meat and it remained tender and flavorful. My teenage loved it…was happy to convert him enjoying Korean radish! Thank you for the great recipe. I plan to make this frequently.
